THY WindPower

THY WindPower was established in 2010 by Flemming and Bent Grønkjær. The company lies on a long lasting experience, both in the wind sector (from 1988) and on machinery construction (1927).

Late in the 1970s, Flemming developed the first wind turbine branded THY, which had a capacity of 7,5 kW and a 12 m lattice tower. The following product was a 11 kW model.

Today, a couple of turbines from 1984 and 1985 are still in operation in the Thy region, proving the reliability of our products.
